1. TENNIS HOLIDAY BOOKING

a. A booking will exist as soon as we issue our booking confirmation email. This booking is made on the terms of these booking conditions. When you make a booking you guarantee that you have the authority to accept and do accept on behalf of your party the terms of these booking conditions. We recommend that as a condition of booking with us that you and all members of your party are adequately insured on holiday.

b. When you make your booking you must pay us a non-refundable deposit. The balance of the price of your travel arrangements must be paid at least 4 weeks before your departure date, unless otherwise noted. If the deposit and/or balance is not paid in time, we shall cancel your travel arrangements without any compensation from us.

c. You, or any member of your party, may cancel your travel arrangements at any time. Written notification from the person who made the booking must be received at our offices. Since we incur costs in cancelling your travel arrangements, you will have to pay the applicable cancellation charges as follows: If cancelled more than 4 weeks before the start of your tennis holiday the cancellation charge equals the deposit and if cancelled less than 4 weeks before the start of your tennis holiday 100% of the tennis holiday cost. If the reason for your cancellation is covered under the terms of your insurance policy, you may be able to reclaim these charges.

d. If you wish to change your travel arrangements in any way, for example your chosen departure date or accommodation, we will do our utmost to make these changes but it may not always be possible. Any request for changes to be made must be in writing from the person who made the booking. You will be asked to pay an administration charge of €50 per booking, and any further cost we incur in making this alteration. Certain travel arrangements may not be changeable after a reservation has been made and any alteration request could incur a cancellation charge of up to 100% of that part of the arrangements.

e. You may be able to transfer your booking to another person who satisfies all the conditions that apply to this booking, by giving us notice in writing at least 14 days before departure. Both you and the new traveller are responsible for paying all costs we incur in making the transfer.

f. If the number of people on a bespoke booking changes, the holiday price will be recalculated on the basis of the amended party size and you will need to pay any difference in the holiday price. Note: any resulting increase in the holiday price per person is not a cancellation charge.

g. We reserve the right to cancel your booking. We will not cancel less than 4 weeks before your departure date, except for unavoidable and extraordinary circumstances, or failure by you to pay the final balance, or because the minimum number required for the package to go ahead has not been reached. Unavoidable and extraordinary circumstances means a situation beyond our control, the consequences of which could not have been avoided even if all reasonable measures had been taken. If we cancel your tennis holiday we will propose you an alternative holiday of comparable standard from us at a later date.

h. We reserve the right to decline accepting or retaining any traveler whose health or actions in our sole judgement impede the operation of a trip or the welfare or enjoyment of fellow travelers.

i. For group coaching holidays, it is a requirement for players to provide their NTRP (National Tennis Rating Program) self-assessment level at the time of reservation. This is utilized to ensure appropriate placement of players in the right tennis group based on their skill level. If, at any point, the tennis coach determines that a player has either overestimated or underestimated their skill level, the coach retains the right to reassign the player to a different group that aligns with their demonstrated proficiency. Players are expected to cooperate with the coach’s assessments and accept any necessary changes to their group placement.

j. Excursions, events or other tours that you may choose to book or pay for whilst you are on holiday are not part of your package holiday provided by us. For any excursion, event or other tour that you book, your contract will be with the operator of the excursion, event or tour and not with us. For excursions booked on our website, Playtennisabroad only acts an affiliate and we are not responsible for the provision of the excursion, event or tour or for anything that happens during the course of its provision by the operator.

k. Adverse weather conditions: We cannot be held responsible for adverse weather conditions that may impede the ability to play tennis. While we are committed to making every effort to reschedule coaching hours affected by inclement weather during your tennis holiday, we cannot guarantee the feasibility of such rescheduling. In the event that it proves impossible to reschedule coaching hours due to weather constraints, no compensation will be provided for the lost coaching hours.

l. Bookings are made on the terms of these booking conditions, which are governed by English Law, and the jurisdiction of the English Courts.
